クラッシック音楽演奏家第3回としてイツァーク・パールマンを取り上げました。イツァーク・パールマン（1945年8月31日生まれ）は、イスラエルのテルアビブ生まれのバイオリニスト、指揮者、音楽指導者。彼は20世紀後半における最も偉大なバイオリニストの1人と評価されています。個人的にはギドン・クレーメルと並び最もお気に入りのバイオリニストです。 世界中のすべての主要なオーケストラやコンサートホールと共演し、16回のグラミー賞、4回のエミー賞を受賞。また2015年にはオバマ大統領から米国の民間人として最高の栄誉である大統領自由勲章も受賞しています。 彼の演奏は「何度聞いてもうっとりする」と評される「甘い音」が特徴と言われており、名器ストラディバリウス「ソイル」（1714年製）を愛用していることでも知られています。今回はその「甘い音」が堪能できる曲を選定しました。 ********************************************************** I chose "Itzhak Perlman" for the third of "World of Classical Music Performers". Itshak Perlman (born August 31,1945) is a violinist, conductor, and music teacher born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is considered one of the greatest violinists of the second half of the 20th centurey. Personally, he is my favorite violinist along with Gidon Kremer. Having performed with every major orchestra and at concert halls around the globe. Perlman has been honored with 16 GRAMMY® Awards, 4 Emmy Awards and also received A Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Nation’s highest civillian honor, by President Obama in 2015. His playing is characterized by a "Sweet sound" that is said to "fascinate you no matter how many times you listen to it," and he is also famous for using the "Stradivarius Soil (made in 1714)".
