クラッシック音楽演奏家特集の第7回はナルシソ・イエペスです。ナルシソ・イエペス（1927-1997）はスペイン出身のギタリスト、作曲家、編曲家です。クラッシックギターの演奏家としては、アンドレス・セゴビアと並ぶ巨匠として知られています。また、全ての音のハーモニックスを響かせる目的で10弦ギターを開発し、自身の演奏に使用していました。何よりも1952年のフランス映画「禁じられた遊び」の音楽を編曲、構成そして演奏を1本のギターで行ったことは有名です。その中の曲「愛のロマンス」は日本においてギター演奏を志す人が最初に目標とする曲にもなっています。 彼の演奏は10弦ギターによる均一的なHarmonic soundを持つ、透明度の高い音色が特徴の一つです。 私はイエペスの孫弟子の教室でギターを習いました。 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー The 7th installment of classical music performers is ”Narciso Yepes”. Narciso Yepes (1927-1997) is a Spanish guitarist, composer, and arranger. He is known as a master classical guitar player, along with Andres Segovia. He also developed a 10-string guitar, which he used to play, with the purpose of resonating all the harmonics. He is most famous for arranging, composing and performing the music for the 1952 French film "Forbidden Games" using only one guitar. One of the songs, "Romance" is the first song that people in Japan who want to play the guitar aim for. One of the caharacteristics of his playing is the highly transparent tone with a uniform harmonic sound produced by the 10-string guitar. I learned to play the classical guitar in the class of Yepes's grandchaild.
