I never talk out of turn whenever I'm in school I'm quiet in class 'cause I wanna pass; 'sides I ain't no fool No one ever talks in class, no not even a peep: That's cause my teacher always puts me to sleep Makin' sure I get all the rest I need Dreamin' of those pastures of plenty My teacher talks and talks and talks. You know he is so boring He yells at me every day: says "Hey you! Stop that snoring!" Most kids raise their hands, but their answers're always wrong Me, I just yawn and yawn, yawn and yawn (yawns) yawn and yawn He sits at his desk every day; all he ever does is talk: "Now class, answer number four". Then he'll write with his chalk For two and a half hours. It really is a bore Until he turns around to hear the entire class snore "Hey you! Wake up! Don't you know school was over two hours ago? I'm the janitor. I gotta sweep up the room. What is this? All these spitballs on the floor and chewing gum on the blackboard! What is this, a barn?"
